Mahindra is likely to upgrade its XUV500 with the Voice Command Technology. So, all the XUV500 models that are to be rolled out in and after October 2012 will boast advance voice command feature.
February 15, 2012: Mahindra XUV500 has been receiving overwhelming response from the day it was launched. It received over 25,000 bookings within 10 days of reopening of booking for the SUV for second time on January 25, 2012. The XUV500 is a great vehicle equipped with excellent features kit at an affordable price.
Now, Mahindra is planning to incorporate an interesting advance feature to its XUV500. This feature will be Voice Command Technology. The expected Voice Command Technology that will be featured in the Mahindra XUV500 is considered to be advance enough to probably revolutionise the SUV market. However, the SUVs with this technology will only be available in and after October, 2012. Currently, the GPS navigation system of the XUV features this technique. In addition to this, an auto transmission is also speculated to become a part of the features of Mahindra XUV500.
Well, it is to be noticed that Mahindra had earlier tested this same technique few years ago in its stylish Scorpio. This technology was confronted to very basic commands like commanding the driver to fasten the seat belt and shut the door. However, Mahindra’s Xylo E9 features voice controls that are used for controlling the audio system, headlamps, mobile phones, viper, etc. One of the best things of the voice controlling system in Xylo E9 is that it recognises the Indian voice.
